Eloise postanawia poskarżyć się pozostałym wampirom, że Vladimir ją ugryzł. Oni jednak nie mogą nic z tym zrobić. Tłumaczą jej, że jest Kielichem i na tym będzie polegać jej rola. Bohaterka próbuje dowiedzieć się, na czym dokładnie polega ta więź, ale nikt nie chce jej tego wytłumaczyć. Udaje się do Vladimira, aby z nim o tym porozmawiać. On tłumaczy jej, że od teraz są związani i tylko śmierć może ich rozdzielić. Dziewczynie nie podoba się ta informacja. Wampir znów ją gryzie i mimo początkowych oporów, Eloise w końcu się poddaje. Po pewnym czasie jednak zmienia swoje nastawienie i wyrywa mu nadgarstek, raniąc się przy tym. Następnie ucieka, wpadając po drodze na Ivana, który również próbuje ją ugryźć, ale Vladimir go powstrzymuje. Eloise jest wściekła, że liczy się dla nich tylko to, kto może ją gryźć, natomiast jej stan nie jest ważny dla nikogo. Znów ucieka, ale tym razem do lasu. Vladimir zatrzymuje ją za pomocą więzi, a dziewczyna przewraca się, tracąc przytomność. Wampir znajduje ją poza ścieżką i zanosi z powrotem do rezydencji.
Stajemy przed wyborem czy porozmawiać z Aaronem czy Raphaelem. Wybór ma wpływ tylko na kolejność następowania po sobie rozmów.
